The target audience is someone with no knitting experience.

This is an 2 hour private class.

In this hands-on private class, you will be introduced to knitting. The concepts that will be presented are:

• Cast On
• The Knit Stitch
• The Purl Stitch
• Cast Off or Bind Off

Nothing. You will be working from a sample swatch of knitting that the instructor provides.

But if you really want to bring your own stuff, bring a ball of worsted weight yarn in a light, bright colour and smooth in texture, as well as a a pair of 4 mm or 4.5 mm knitting needles, 10" long. These may be purchased at stores such as Michael's, WalMart, or specialty yarn shops.

The cost of this private class is $30.00/hour. It typically takes 2 hours (or $60) to complete the material. You may bring one or more friends - the cost is then $15.00 per hour per person.
