The target audience is someone with some knitting experience, but not a lot. A pre-requisite is the Introduction to Knitting - Level I workshop, or equivalent experience (familiarity with Cast On, Cast Off, Knit, and Purl).
This is a private class that typically takes 2 hours.
In this hands-on workshop, you will be introduced to more knitting techniques. The concepts that will be presented are:
Bring a ball of worsted weight yarn in a light, bright colour and smooth in texture, as well as a a pair of 4 mm or 4.5 mm knitting needles, 10" long. These may be purchased at stores such as Michael's, WalMart, or specialty yarn shops. It would also be beneficial to purchase a needle and stitch gauge, a yarn needle, and point protectors. If you are unable to get these supplies, do not worry - you may use the school's supplies.
The cost of this private class is $25.00/hour. It typically takes 2 hours (or $50) to complete the material.
Because this is a private class, dates and times are arranged between you and the instructor. See the Contact page for more information.
